I'm late for work, but I just wanted to blog that Jaime went to the doctor yesterday and had her "membranes stripped". Basically, the doctor separates the placenta from the uterine wall near the cervix to help speed things along. Often after having this done labor onsets within 24-48 hours. So I'm gathering all our stuff that we'll need if we have to run to the hospital and that's why I'm late. Since having this done Jaime says she's had lots of cramping and contractions so it sounds like its working. I'm hoping for the baby to come today so we can have the cool birthdate 06-07-05.
